Happy Friday everyone! Today I want to give you some tangible. actionable tips to get you out of your funk and back on track. I call it my tips for Mojo Magic. Ok, full disclosure I just made that up, but I like it.

Tip #1 – Start Today
I know, it’s Friday and typically most people roll through the weekend like Henry VIII on a bender but hear me out. If you decide right now that you’re going to get back on track then you have three days to ease into it. For example:
This afternoon start with a nice walk or some easy yoga.
Saturday and Sunday can be like a retreat. Saturday, hit the trail for a hike with the hubs or a friend then grab a light lunch and Sunday stream a workout that you’ve been dying to try but have been ‘too busy’ to get to.
Also, and this is KEY. You’ll be in the right headspace to plan your workouts for the coming week. #brilliant.
Tip #2 – Get out Your Calendar
If you’re not a pen and paper person, I’m going to ask you to trust me and give it a go. As you’re in your Friday-Sunday glow (see above) take some time and jot down your workout plan for the week. And yes, schedule it like you would a meeting. Because you are as important as a strategic planning meeting or a call with your boss.
Tip #3 – Do A Little Something Every Day
When we are trying to get back on track, we have to rebuild a habit that’s been broken. Your habit was working out before work and along the way, your habit became sleeping in, rolling out of bed and into a zoom call
So to shock you back into your habit, schedule something every day for at least 10 minutes. I’ll give you leeway to pick your own adventure but aim for some cardio, strength, flexibility and some easy movement. A 10 minute walk on Monday, a 15 minute yoga sesh on Tuesday, etc.
Ok so here we go. Your marching orders are:
- Start today and treat the weekend like your own personal fitness retreat.
- Schedule your workouts like they are your job.
- Do a little somethng every day.
You’ve got this.
Now go run!
Keli 🙂
Good morning, i’ts scary your like a mind reader, OK I’m going to do what you just suggested because I have gotten way off the tracks! Happy Friday to you as well!!
