The Zero Breast Cancer Dipsea Hike is now open for registration. It’s a 6 mile, all-ages trail loop. It’s a great way to experience breathtaking Mount Tamalpais views, the legendary Dipsea steps and enjoy food, live music and prizes with your family and friends.
Last year I did this event with some friends. We walked part, ran part and had a great time. It’s a wonderful event that raises money for breast cancer research.

Some information about Zero Breast Cancer: Marin County, as some of you know, has a higher incidence of breast cancer for reasons that have yet to be figured out. Zero Breast Cancer is a community based, nonprofit organization dedicated to prevention and finding the causes of breast cancer through community participation in the scientific research process. They focus on identifying environmental factors and the role they play in breast cancer at all stages of life and across generations.
