Run or Walk For a Good Cause

Australia is burning and it’s just heartbreaking.    The effects of the recent bush-fires has been widespread and devastating.

Melbourne-based ultramarathon runner, Samantha Gash, and Nic Davidson have created a virtual Relief Run. Let’s use our footsteps to support those who have lost loved ones, their homes, and their critical needs in the face of disaster.

Your run or walk can take place anywhere, at any time on the weekend of Saturday January 18th and Sunday January 19th 2020. There are 21.1km half marathon and 5km options for you to sign up for. We welcome runners of all abilities to join us for this important cause.

Virtually

    1.  Sign up at Strava for the Relief Run Challenge. Run at least 5K or up to a 21k January 17-19th, 2020 virtually or  with  your friends.
    2. Pledge your run at reliefrun.com.au for $50 (All proceeds support the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund).

Community Run

    1.  Join us on Sunday, January 18th for a community run or walk on
Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 8:00 am.  We’re meeting at Blackie’s Pasture and you can run 5K, 10K or whatever your little heart desires.
    2.  Kids and families welcome.
    3. Walkers totally welcome.
