We work hard. Our bodies work hard. Miles on the pavement, hours in the pool, countless Frans and Lindas in the box, it takes a toll.
You can avoid many of the training pitfalls if you practice a little self-care.
I know, you’re done with your thing and you get home and immediately shift to our next item on the to-do list. Who needs lunch? What are you going to wear to work? Will someone please feed the cat and walk the dog!
But I promise you. If you incorporate 10 minutes of mobility, yoga or stretching into your workouts you can reduce your risk of injuries.
Here are a few resources to help you get started.

And if things start to get sticky or you have flare-ups in areas that are problematic it’s ok to take a day or two off. Rest. Cut your workout or load in half. Put your feet up.
You can’t get faster, stronger, or more fit if you are constantly battling injuries.
Now go run!
