All’s been quiet on the challenge front, so I wanted to repost the challenge in case you haven’t quite locked into it. And remember, it’s never too late to start one of our challenges!
The November Challenge
This is the simplest of all challenges; your goal is to do some intentional movement/activity for 30 minutes daily. Take a 30- minute strength class, walk, do three 10-minute walks, do yoga, etc.
How you move does not matter, it’s getting into the habit of moving your body. Every. Day.
Take the challenge, read the details below and pay attention to the Pro Tips. (I am a professional, after all) and let’s get moving together.
If you are just starting out on your fitness journey or recovering from an injury or illness (after checking with your doctor and getting a green light to begin exercising, of course), start the first week with 15 minutes daily. If that’s too much, start with 10 or 5 minutes daily. Just start.
Click here to download the tracker. Check off every day you complete the challenge. Easy peasy.
Now go run!
Keli 🙂
PS – We don’t include “rest” days in this challenge. Our bodies don’t need a day off; they are designed to move. But you shouldn’t go hard every day. Plan at least two active recovery days into your schedule. These include walking, easy hikes with friends, yoga, swimming, or taking a bike ride with the kids. You’re still active but at a more leisurely, enjoyable pace.
