I’ve written and erased many ‘end of 2020’ blog posts in the past few weeks. I can’t quite figure out where to land. There were tragedies, horrors, injustice, incompetence, an election, and a lot of sadness. There were examples of kindness, strength, integrity, resilience, and communities coming together.
I’ve learned a lot about myself and my family this year. One important lesson that was hammered home time and time again, is not to sweat the small stuff. Because if this year has taught us anything, it’s that one day we’ll need all of our energy for the big stuff.
So tomorrow night, I’m closing the door on 2020…gently…and will welcome 2021 in with open arms. Because despite it all, I’m an optimist and believe if we work together and take care of one another, we can overcome anything.
Happy New Year from our family to yours. We wish you peace, happiness, health and a safe 2021.

Now go run!
Keli 🙂
