Burpees, a Love Story

Love ’em or hate ’em they are a full body workout that delivers.

Explosive.  Cardiovascular.  A builder of strength.  Burpees deliver it all in one fluid movement.

Here are the three things I love about them.

  1.  They can be modified many different ways so that one can reap the benefits at their own fitness level.
  2. Though humbling when you first try them, you are able to see improvement quickly.
  3. They are the BEST vacation exercise.  Minimal space, no equipment and they work you tip to tail.

So give Burpees a go by adding them to your workout routine once or twice a week.   Start with a few, go slowly, and add on as you get stronger.

And you will get stronger.

PS –  I’m actually upping my Burpee game by doing 30 of them a day for 15 days.  I’m on Day 4 and will report my results when I’m done.
