A Simple Circuit

I know many of you will be traveling over the holidays which can really put a crimp in your workouts.   To help you stay on track, I’ve put together a quick 20 minute circuit that you can do in a small hotel room (or on a slip of beach, your parent’s backyard or even the parking lot of your hotel).

Do this circuit every other day.  Enjoy.

Warm up – 5 minutes (do each exercise for 30 seconds)

  • Jumping jacks
  • Kneeling pushups
  • Squats (not too deep)
  • Plank
  • Rest 30 seconds, REPEAT one time

Workout Circuit – Do 10 reps of each exercise and continue for 12 minutes (rest as needed during circuit)
Mountain climbers – (left and right is a 1 count)
2 Count Pushups – (start in up position of pushup, lower in a 1, 2 count, press back to start)
BW Squats  – (keep feet about hip width apart  and make sure you push your tush back)
Rear Lunges  – (Do all reps on one side, then switch to opposite leg)
Spiderman Climbers – (in plank, bring right knee outside to right elbow, then do left side – that’s a 1 count)
Jog in place for 30 seconds- REPEAT circuit until your 12 minutes is up

Core – 3 minutes
Plank – 30 secondsLeft Side cross – 30 seconds
Right Side cross – 30 seconds

Now go run!
