Monday Motivation – Start Where You Are Now

As you navigate your way along your fitness journey, here’s a tip.  Stop comparing your today self to your self 5, 10 or 20 years ago.

Your body today.  Your your family sitch today.  Your work sitch today.  Your everything sitch today is different than it was before.  So you need to set your goals based on what your life, body, and responsibilities look like today.

Set your goal based on where you are  RIGHT NOW.  Take a deep breath and be kind to your now self and stop beating yourself up because you’re heavier, slower, less strong that you were back in the day.  Get to it.  You’ve got this.

Now go run!
