Get Going on your Goals

Happy August!  Here’s a fun fact.  There are a lot of races and events coming up in September, October and November.

So if you’ve been summering a bit too much or Rose-ing all day on the regular it’s time to check yourself before you wreck yourself (or your body) and schedule something in the fall and get your training on.

Depending where you are right now, running wise, you can tackle a 5K in September or even a half marathon in late October.

Not ready for or are tired of road races?   Sign up for a trail run – visit for a schedule of races near you.

The distances vary from as little as 4-5 miles to the ultra distance (which is anything over 26.2 miles),  and for the most part your pace doesn’t matter. Walk the hills, run the flats or downhills.  One foot in front of the other until you get there.  Easy peasy.

Ok, maybe not easy peasy.  But wicked fun and the views are amazing.
