Date Balls

This is a quick and tasty sweet treat that you can feel good about eating and giving your kids.  My friend Stephanie made a similar recipe for our Ragnar race.  They were the bomb.

The recipe says to roll them into large marble or golf ball sized but I prefer them a bit smaller.  (Ha ha, she likes small balls. You guys are like 11 year olds.)

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Date Balls

Prep Time:5 Min Total Time:5 Min
Yields 12
  • 1 cup old fashion oats
  • 1/2 cup dates
  • 2 T. peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • Pulse dates and oats in food processor until chopped.


  • Add remaining ingredients and process to combine.


  • Scrape down the sides and continue to process until it balls up.


  • Form large marble/golf ball sized balls.
  • Store in fridge.

Add-ons – roll in coconut flakes, add vegan chocolate chips to the mixture, roll in cocoa.  I could go on and on…
