Getting healthy is not easy. Exercising is not easy. Staying motivated when seemingly insurmountable challenges up and bite you in the tush, when results are not coming as quickly as you wish is hard. Sometimes you feel like throwing in the towel. But don’t.
Because every teeny tiny thing we do that will make us healthier matters.
Every step we take, every time we sound the “diet alarms” by ordering our salad with dressing on the side, or get out of bed for our workout when we’d rather sleep takes us this much closer to our goals. In some cases, progress is a frustratingly slooooooow process. You may take 1 step backward for every 2 steps forward. Now, I’m no math whiz but if you started walking and took 1 step forward, then 2 steps back you will still move in a forward motion. Granted it will take you a bit of time to reach your goal but trust me, if you persevere and keep on keepin’ on, you will get there.
