Bring on the rain!

When it’s raining it’s oh so tempting to crawl back under the covers and wait ’til tomorrow.  But don’t let the wet weather deter you from your run. Here’s a few tips and some motivation for getting you out the door!

1.  Wear light layers so you don’t feel that your clothes are weighing you down.  A lightweight rain jacket, running hat and running tights should to the trick.

2.  Give yourself permission to head home after 20 minutes.  Odds are you’ll hit your 20 minute mark and unless you are being pummeled with wind and rain you’ll keep going.

3.  Rain water is great for your skin!

4.  Running outside makes you look like a certified bad ass!  ‘Nuff said
