How To Make Almond Milk

First, take an almond in your left thumb and forefinger. Now squeeze until the milk comes out. Ha ha, vegan humor.

Now you may ask, ‘why on earth would I want to make almond milk (or any nut milk for that matter) when I have so many options at my local grocery store?’ Yes. Very good question. Here’s why:

  • You control the ingredients (no additives, thickeners, sugars, etc.)
  • You make it in small batches guarantee your milk is fresh
  • It’s easy and relatively inexpensive

The recipe I’m sharing is from @georginahealedhashimotos on Instagram.

If you prefer thicker milk you can use less milk. I’m also going to try adding some cinnamon or vanilla extract to add some flavor. Use your milk in your coffee, smoothies, oatmeal, or any recipes!

Now go run!

If almonds have milk then do moths have balls?
