According to the hash marks etched into the kitchen cabinets, we’re on Day 17 of the SIP mandate. (Full disclosure, I’m marking the days on a calendar but please indulge me).
The first few weeks of the SIP had me shook. And while I wasn’t stocking up for the Apocalypse I was a bit untethered. Unnerved. And that affected my grand plans for a total health overhaul.
And based on everyone’s social media posts, I don’t think I’m alone. It seems that we’re exercising a little. Eating a lot. Drinking more that we maybe have in the past. Which on vacation, is perfectly fine. But since we’re SIP here in California for the next 31 days (at minimum), something might have to change. And it cannot be the size of our pants or the butts that we have to squeeze into them.
So I thought I’d get myself a little group together so we could all work on our health and fitness together. Substitute a Virtual Happy Hour for a Virtual Healthy Hour.
Our first one is on Monday, April 6th at 7:00pm.
Here’s the deal. Each week you determine a healthy habit you wish to adopt (ie – drink 2L of water each day) OR an unhealthy habit you need to ditch (ie – digging into the Lay’s while watching Vanderpump Rules) .
This habit to add or ditch will be your (GOTW) Goal of the Week.
On our call we’ll go over tips and strategies to help you stick with your habits (or how to kick the ones that aren’t serving you). If you would like to share your GOTW I strongly encourage it.
The plan is that we all leave the meeting armed with some tools to help make the week a success!
